I haven’t cross stitched at all today. I did get two projects ready to be worked on – one will be worked on in June and one may or may not be worked on in June.
One is is Noble Birdseed Banquet. This will be my June project for Cross Stitch Camp sponsored by Colorado Cross Stitcher. There’s info about Cross Stitch Camp here and a link to Sheri’s youtube video which goes into detail. June’s challenge is to stitch something with a bird.
I’m using the DMC conversion and stitching it on 36 count Legacy by Picture This Plus. Can I get it done in a month? Hopefully. I will work on it the first five days of June. If it looks like I can get it stitched after another five days, I’ll work on it again later in the month. If not, then I’ll probably just work on other projects the rest of the month. I would love to finish a couple that I worked on last month that are close to being finished. We’ll see how it goes.
The other project I kitted is Eliza’s French Birds which a friend sent me for my birthday. I had been on the fence about whether to get this chart simply because I have another chart by this designer and no amount of enlarging is making it easy to read. It’s almost like the deisgn just isn’t clear . . it’s something I’ve never encountered before and I even took it to Office Depot and had them enlarge it and they couldn’t get a really clear copy either. But I was happy to get the chart and even happier to see that’s very clear and easy to read. When I started stitching this dachshund piece, it was so small that I decided to put the whole piece of linen on the frame and then maybe stitch something else. I’m glad I did it that way because I am totally out of empty frames. I am going to have to take something off a frame in order to put Noble Birdseed Banquet on a frame and I told myself I would never do that.
I probably will not start Eliza during June but I might. I also need to get at least one of the 12 Days of Christmas done. It’s #3 I will work on.
A long of my June plans depends on whether I get new frames I’ve ordered. If I get those, I will make a couple of new starts. If I don’t get them, I’ll work on WIPs.

Lots of choices. May seemed intense, and you did get a lot done.
