Oscar is either sleeping next to one of us or he’s going 100 miles per hour. He seems to have nothing in between.
In the mornings, when he wakes up, he runs and runs. He makes about 20 loops through the living room, the bedroom, the bathroom, then rests for five minutes and does it all over again. I wish I had his energy.
I can see that he’s slowing down a bit. Up til now, he would be a terror til about 2 and then he would start slowing down. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that by noon, he was calm, curled up beside me sleeping.
No matter how wild and crazy he is, we love him and I’ll always be thankful we got him. I think a lot of people wouldn’t have kept him and all he needs is love and lots of exercise – probably more than he gets with us but he seems pretty happy.

The blanket was mine before Oscar adopted it, or stole it. It’s kinda big for him so I’m on the lookout for a similar one that’s blue and smaller so I can have mine back. Now that he thinks it’s his, he’ll probably not want another one and continue to take mine. As crazy as he is, he’s the sweetest little guy when he sleeps.
