Yesterday I made really good (for me) progress on this project (For the Love of Nature by Teresa Kogut) Most of the progress was on the big red house. I stitched a bit more last night after taking the picture.
I changed the smoke to white lightning, as suggested by a reader and I do believe that color is going to be the answer to a lot of color issues I have with light floss showing up but it isn’t great on this fabric. I give up . . I’m going to outline the smoke in a gray and be done with it.
Once I get the house and the deer stitched, I’ll be well over halfway done with this project. In fact, the horizontal halfway point is about the middle of the next row of windows. By the end of today, I should at least have the house outlined.
