Sheri at Colorado Cross Stitcher is once again hosting Cross Stitch Camp. She talks about it in this flosstube. Sheri designs the cutest little badges for each camp. You can find the 2023 badge here, as well as info on the various challenges.
I hadn’t planned on “attending” camp this summer because we will have company two different times in June and I thought I was going to be gone for a week in June so that wouldn’t have left much time for stitching. When Chad, Nicole and Addie were here Sunday, Nicole and I were talking about our girls’ trip (the one I thought was in June) and Nicole said “No! It’s in July that we’re taking our trip.”
Then I started thinking about the company and one is going to be here just three days and one is going to be here five days. I will have some amount of time during that time to stitch, plus the rest of the month.
The June challenge is for something that includes a bird. Here’s what I’m going to stitch.
It’s Sepia Sampler by Notforgotten Farm and can be found in their Etsy shop. I had all the floss here and I’m going to use the thinner linen that I received today. I figured I should at least try stitching on it before I find a new home for it and since this is a fairly small project – should be about 4″ x 6″ when finished . . why not?
