Five days of working on A Sampler for All Seasons has come to an end and it’s time to start another project for five days. This is where I was when I picked it back up again on May 6.
This is how far I got in five days of stitching.
Maybe it’s just me but I’m impressed with my progress! I finished the fence and grass at the bottom of the bottom left block. I stitched the entire house – roof, windows and all; two dogs and started the base of the flower pot. I stitched the entire bottom two lines, added the leaves to the last wavy green line in the middle section and and partially stitched three flowers on that row.
Today I start back to stitching Eloquent Christmas by ByGone Stitches.
I was going to say “I think I can finish this in five days” but I decided not to say it (but I kinda just did). We’ll see how far I can get.
I should be able to get the “C” finished today. If that happens and I get any amount of stitching done on the “y” or the “M”, depending on where I start . . I guess I should start with the right bottom of the “M because that’s over the “t” and that should be close to the center . . obviously I haven’t looked at the chart in a while. Anyway . . as soon as I finish up the morning chores around here, I’ll get started stitching and see what I can get done in five days.

I think it’s good progress, too, and I look forward to the Christmas tree, too..
