I am so loving working on a project for five days, then changing to another project. For me, five days holds my interest without my mind wandering and wanting to start something else. Knowing I have just five days to work on it keeps me motivated to work as much and as fast as I can. This could be the plan that sticks for me. I wouldn’t plan any farther than the next month . . one month at a time. Today I was thinking what I might work on in June. Right now I’m thinking there should be at least one that I work on each month to try to get it finished and there should always be one that hasn’t had any work on it in a while. Maybe for June, I would consider For the Love of Nature, which is on 36 count and I could probably work on it in Louisiana without a magnifying lamp – maybe just readers and a good lamp; maybe Three Things since I haven’t worked on it in a while; A Sampler for all Seasons because if I don’t finish it in by the 10th, I could certainly finish it the next time around. We’ll see . . don’t need to be thinking too much about June while it’s still May.
From May 6 – May 10, I’m working on A Sampler for All Seasons by The Scarlett House. This was an exclusive to the Homespun Needlework group on Facebook last summer so hopefully it will be available for purchase some time soon.
Here’s where I left off last night:
All I have left to do is the roof on the bottom left house, a tree or flower vine to the left of the house, finish the last line of the verse, add flowers and leaves to those squiggly lines between the lines of the verse. I’m thinking there is a good chance I could get this finished by the 10th and if not, since I’m working on projects five days, there’s an extra day at the end of May. Surely I could finish it by the end of the month . . I hope!

So hoping they release the Sampler for all Seasons pattern this summer. I just love it and want to start as soon as it’s released. Love to see pictures of your sampler. So pretty!

I started it in September so I probably got it in July or August. If I hear they’re going to release it, I’ll post it here.

I like the color you chose for the last house.
