This will include the remaining projects I have pulled. I can pull out others and I don’t have to work on all of these so you may see them later with lots of progress, you may not see them again and you may see others. The first part of my list can be found in “May Stitching Plans – Part 2“.
One thing I forgot to say – this first phase (Prelminary Round) goes from May 1 – May 17. Then things change. Since this is my first time, I assume things get harder. I may save some of these like the deer on both For the Love of Nature and And Heave and Nature Sing, as well as the background behind the writing on A Changed World for the more fierce competition. I almost feel like that’s cheating though. I’ll have to think about that.
5. For the Love of Nature
This one needs to be finished soon. Maybe it will happen this month. Thank you, Val, for telling me about White Lightning. I think it’s going to work. That will be the first thing I stitch when I start working on this project.
6. And Heaven and Nature Sing
The deer is huge on this one. If I can get him stitched, I would be very happy!
7. A Changed World
The background behind all the words needs to be stitched. That is a ton of stitching. I think that alone could get me all the points I need for a week.
I have the top part somewhat stitched on this already.
8. Because of You
I have the border started. For some reason, I’m not trusting myself with this border so I’m going to go ahead and stitch the first row, from left to right and make sure it’s lining up with the top of the border, then I’ll stitch the left border part of the way down and make sure the horizontal stitching is matching up to that part of the border. That’s not how I usually do my borders but while I was stitching the right side and the top, Oscar was being a wild and crazy puppy. I’m not sure he’s ever going to calm down but we can talk about that later.
There’s not too much quick and easy about this one but, if one day my bank is full and I know I can get my points that day, I may work on it.
9. Every Opening Flower
This border isn’t my favorite to stitch but I love this chart. Same as for #8 – if I have a day when I’m not rushed for points, I may work on this one. My goal is to work down to where the house is. The border isn’t a typical border in that on the left side of the top, it changes, then about midway down, it changes again. I want to stitch the house but I have to work my way down to it. Those wide open spaces are a great place for me to miscount and mess up so I’ll have to see if this one gets any work or not.
That’s it! There are plenty more WIPs I can add if I need them but I think these may get me through.

I’m excited to follow your progress on this challenge in May. Just think of all the stitching time you’ll get in!!

Love seeing all of your projects! I have an almost finish – just need to add 7 charms. I don’t dedicate as much time to cross stitch as I have at times in the past. But I sure keep buying like I do! lol

I think that’s what you’re supposed to do! 🙂

I like all your projects, and wish you great luck with stitching like a crazy woman.

Thank you! About the only thing I do well is “crazy woman”. It comes so naturally for me. 🙂

I don’t think having a lot of fill in would be cheating. I’m sure there are people with full coverage pieces that will stitch large blocks of color – also anyone doing monochromatic is likely to get a lot of stitches in fairly easily. Happy stitching and I’ll be following your progress – don’t think I’d have any chance of keeping up.
