Chad, Nicole, Addie and a friend are somewhere hiking today. I kept wondering why there’s no school today and then remembered it’s Saturday. Good grief, Judy! I knew it was Saturday because I’m working on a weekend morning project til 6 p.m. Well, that along with planting things in the garden, watering, playing fetch with Oscar to try to run him down, cooking dinner . . looking for asparagus plants we ordered, they arrived and neither of us has a clue where they are now.
I didn’t get a picture of Addie because she and her friend are together in all the pictures and I don’t want to show someone else’s child without permission. I’m so happy Chad and Nicole do fun things with Addie. They’re all such good people . . really, not just because Chad is my son.
Even though I don’t get to see them as much as I’d like (probably more than they like), I’m so happy that we’re living less than an hour from them.

It is wonderful for all of you. If you need Chad or Nicole they are only a few miles away and vice-versa. It is not like you are in Texas and several hours away from them. Enjoy every minute of it!

You are so lucky to be close to your family. My daughter, son in law and grandsons live on Vancouver Island and I live near Ottawa Ontario. They are moving on a military posting from there to London England this summer..so even farther away. I was in the Military for 20 years so I get it but it’s hard sometimes. They moved west in 2019 and we have only seen them once because of the restricted travel during the pandemic. My 10 year old grandson started crosstitching this year and has finished a lovely piece. I will email a photo if you would like to share it.

I know we deal with what we have to deal with but that would be so hard. Good luck to you!
I will share the picture if that’s ok. I saw it already! Thanks!
