Today I made these brownies for a friend. I don’t know that I’ve ever used powdered sugar in the batter but this recipe had great ratings so I tried it. I was lucky I had dark chocolate baking chips here. They were more like little oblong pieces vs. chips and they worked just fine.
I didn’t try them but this is the response I got back from the recipient.
Don’t forget the house behind me is going to be for sale soon. This is what I do for my neighbors. Just saying . . 🙂

Wish I could be near you, but my family is here like your family is in Mo. I found this brownie recipe and have shared it with friends. Since I can’t have chocolate, I thought others might like it.
Flat Belly Brownies
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup nut butter
1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup cocoa powder
gently mix banana, nut butter, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Add cocoa. Spread in a small greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degree F until pick inserted in center comes out clean. 22-26 minutes. Let cool, then slice. Serves 9
Sounds like it would be really good!

I’d jump at the chance to be your neighbor but you get snow and I don’t want to do snow anymore.

NO! We don’t get much snow usually. I think Vince only shoveled the driveway once this year. I do understand.

Did you use olive oil….
