Some of you stitchers may think SAL means “stitch along”. For me, it apparently means “start along”. I don’t seem to be finishing much of anything these days but I’m having fun starting projects with my friends.
Saturday, April 15, we’re starting Rejoice Evermore. I have the linen on a frame. I have my floss. I’ll be starting on Saturday.
I’m using Victoria Clayton silks. Here’s her packet for this project.
I think the chart calls for overdyes and probably has a DMC conversion (not looking at my chart right now).
You’re welcome to join us. You can start with us, you can start any time later. You can dig it out if you’ve already started it and not finished it. You can do whatever makes you happy and we’ll be happy to have you stitching along with us.

Yay! I’m in! I’ve been wanting to get back to it since I did a New Year’s Eve start with it. I’m ready to work on something else. I decided to frog all the stitching I’ve done on the house on Winter Rose Manor. I thought it would be fine but after stitching I didn’t think there was enough contrast. I went by my LNS today and with some help bought both WDW Cherub and Meredith’s Pink. Couldn’t decide between the two! Cherub looked slightly apricot in the store but it doesn’t here at home, and Meredith’s is pinkish. I looked at all the other floss lines and couldn’t find anything “better” than those two so we shall see!

I have Meredith’s Pink but I don’t have Cherub. I’m just not ready to tackle it yet. I think I’ve narrowed it down to three choices. I can’t remember what they are now but I have a skein of Colour & Cotton floss that I thought was perfect but it was one of a kind and I couldn’t get more. One of the flosses – either a regular overdye or a Roxy Floss Co. color is exactly the same as that Colour & Cotton floss so I think that may be what I use.
Thanks for joining us in the SAL.
