Starting today, I’m going to make a real effort to get more stitching done. There are only so many hours in my day. It’s a rare day that I get started stitching before 6 or 7 p.m. Not sure how I plan to make this happen. Maybe less time in the kitchen or less time on the computer. I’ll figured it out. My goal is to get at least one hour stitching done before noon and to be stitching by 4 p.m. I’ll have to stop at least a couple of times and take Oscar out to play/run off some energy but that’s a very good use of my time because he will then sleep for a few hours . . then we’ll go out and play more, then he’ll sleep for a few hours. Poor little pup . . he just wants to play!
Here’s what I had stitched as of Thursday (I’ve already showed this).
Here’s what I finished last night.
That’s some decent progress, right?
Today I think I can finish the flower I’ve started on the right, stitch the flower on the left, finish the green “sign” that says “Peace”, finish the star on the left and stitch the star on the right. That’s a lot but it’s not too many color changes except in the flowers.
My goal is to have this finished by the end of the day Wednesday, April 12.

Miss Judy I was wondering if you could enlighten me as to what etc on a cross stitch chart means?
There are several DMC numbers listed the etc and another number.
You have inspired me to start cross stitching!
Have a Happy Easter!

I am not sure. It’s very late – after 1 a.m. here and maybe my brain just isn’t thinking correctly but if you can send me an example (picture) to judy.blog@gmail.com, I’ll be happy to respond again here and to your email.
