You may remember if you were reading my blog back in 2005 when I tried to learn to knit socks. I didn’t know how to rip back a few rows so when I made mistakes, I’d have to rip it all the way back and start over. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the heel and I kept having to rip back and finally Vince said “You’re not going to get it . . why don’t you give up?”
Last night I was trying to decide on a color for the house on Winter Rose Manor. I showed Vince Denise’s house. Later I was tossing floss around and we had this conversation:
Vince: Why don’t you just send it to Denise and she can finish it.
Me: Denise has projects of her own to finish!
Vince: She doesn’t seem to have a problem choosing colors.
Then he did have some real words of wisdom . . just put it away for a while and work on something else!
I’ll do that, at least til the new floss colors arrive but I’ll constantly be thinking about another color I can try for the house.

That man ain’t right! 🙂 LOL I did buy the called for and then when I got it and it was too tan, I did the same as you and ordered several pinks before thinking I don’t like pink anyway and went in search of another color to use instead. I just pulled out my stash of Victorian Motto and went back and forth for a long time between blue colors and green colors before finally deciding I wanted a gold house so sometimes it just isn’t easy deciding on colors.

You’re right. At this point, I just want it done and am getting way less picky about what color the house ends up being. I love that greenish yellowy gold I found yesterday and after seeing your house, I love it even more.
