I’m not trying to cause anyone to spend money but . .
Last night I saw Chilly Willy on The Silver Needle’s Facebook post and think that is the cutest thing! Chilly Willy one and Holly Jolly immediately jumped into my cart. It does look like, at the moment, 123 Stitch has them too. Silver Needle is one of my “local” shops, though I’ve never been there. Some day I will go.
I can’t see the back side but I’m hoping there’s no stitching on the back. Looking at the picture, I do see some stitching that isn’t on the front so . . maybe they are stitched all around.
Anyone interested in these, you may want to order them. I can imagine they’ll be pretty popular. The charts may not be difficult to get but some of the called for floss may be. When I first started stitching again in December, 2020, there were so many of the overdyed floss colors that were hard to get and I had no stash so couldn’t substitute. For a while, it seems like all the floss was easy to find but lately, almost every time I try to order overdyes for a project, there’s something out of stock. I don’t worry about it so much these days because I now know there will be something I have here that will work but . . not that anyone asked or is concerned with what *I* want . . I don’t want to go back to having to wait weeks or months to get a particular color of floss.

Silver Needle is my local store here in Tulsa. You can shop in there for hours!! Lindy has a great store and wonderful staff. You need to make a trip here sometime.

I would love to! It’s too bad I wasn’t cross stitching when I was going back and forth from MO to TX. Stopping there would have been so convenient.

My sister and I went to a retreat at the Silver Needle last summer. On our way there, we saw a billboard advertising the Precious Moments Chapel outside of Carthage, MO. Since we used to collect those back in the day, we decided to take a brief detour and check it out. Since then, I’ve “discovered” your blog and I always think you are somewhere in that area, correct?

Yes. I am not far from the Precious Moments museum at all . . probably less than 10 miles. We do most of our grocery shopping and Lowe’s shopping in Carthage and our trip there takes us right by the road to the museum.
