Yesterday Vince and I ran by the flea market and I found two frames that are really pretty.
I love the one on the left. The opening is 10″ x 13″. The mat looks metal but I’m not sure it is. I tried to figure it out without taking it apart and I can’t figure it out. I’m not ready to dismantle the frames yet but I’d like to keep both of them with their pretty matting and I don’t usually like matting.
The opening on the frame on the right is 7.25″ x 19.5″. That’s kind of a weird size but for $10, I figured it might be just what I need some day. I can cut either of these down to size but with the one on the right having multiple mats that I’d like to keep, and the one on the left having that metallic looking mat that I’d like to keep, I’m probably going to try really hard to find something that will fit into these.
I enjoy not only cross stitching but choosing the frames and trying to fit pieces into the frames I have here. It was a fun couple of hours in the flea market. Vince picked up a few things. The frames were the only thing I found and I’m very happy with them.
