Yesterday Chad and Vince went fishing. They left here about 7:30 a.m. and got home about 7 p.m. No fish but they did go by a few flea markets. Chad said he hadn’t realized how much rain we had gotten in this area or he probably wouldn’t have suggested fishing today. Vince said no one was catching fish so they didn’t feel bad about not catching any.
Addie came and spent the day with me. She and Oscar played and played! He would get so fired up, I would ask her to stop playing with him and let him calm down but he kept doing funny things and even though she wasn’t playing with him, she would giggle and I think he knew he was being successful at entertaining her. Several times I said “OK . . time out! Oscar has to go into the crate for a while.” He would get in her lap and sleep off and on and it was so cute. She loved that.
We went to Michael’s to get her a set of pom pom makers and I got her a couple of skeins of yarn. I let her dig through my scrap yarn bin and she took some of that yarn. She was making pom poms for her friends. One wanted a pink one; one wanted a green one.
She was tired by the time they left. Vince and I were tired. Chad had to go to work today. I told Vince I’m so happy that we can stay home today and relax.

I’ve come home to that more times than I care to remember. No pillows for my crew. 2 have blankies and a fuzzy dog bed inside their crates. The other 2 only blankies. I’m so sorry Oscar ripped Speck’s bed. I hoe it is repairable.
