No, not for me!
She loves animals. She didn’t know Chad was getting baby chicks today so she was very happy to find them when she got home from school yesterday.
Yum! Chicken nuggets for Speck! He’s such an amazing dog. A baby check held that close to Oscar would probably be . . well . . not alive!
She loves animals. Even though I can’t get chickens, I’m so happy they have them. I’m sure she already has a favorite that she will carry around and spoil and treat it like her baby!

I immediately wondered where this was going when I read the headline! LOL! You know we ALL thought you were going to say it was YOU that got those baby chicks!! 🙂 She does look very happy about it, and Speck seemed to be handling it well. If they get over-run with eggs this summer, maybe they’ll share!! 🙂

If they’re over run with eggs, I’ll freeze dry them for Chad. They like having those in mylar bags to take camping.

Awwww! Addie is getting so grown up, I haven’t seen a photo of her in a while. How nice for them that they got chicks. I don’t care for chickens, but chicks are so darling.

She’s looking so mature! It’s good she loves animals, and her animals love her.

OMG, look how grown up Addie is! The baby chicks would not be alive if they were that close to my boys either.

Doesn’t she look like she’s about 15? I’ve never met a dog that was as docile and kind as their Speck is. They found him as a stray and he was full grown when Addie was about 2-1/2 years old. She could reach in his mouth and take food out while he was eating and he never got snippy. The first time I saw him, and saw her looking inside his ears and messing with his food, it scared me to death. They can leave a hamburger on a coffee table and he will never bother it. They will never get another dog like Speck.
