Fox & Rabbit Linen

I’m in Fox & Rabbit’s patreon group and I get linen quarterly (I think) through that. I’m also in their fabric club and I get linen either monthly or quarterly through that. I probably should know more about what I’m buying but . . obviously I do not.

Today I received a package from Fox & Rabbit. I think both the club and the patreon linen were shipped about the same time but coming from Australia, the second package may arrive tomorrow, next week, next month or . . well, it will be here when it gets here.

I opened today’s package and was kinda shocked.

Say Cheese is rather bright . . brighter than it appears in the photo. I thought to myself . . there is a chart, probably already in my stash, that will look absolutely perfect on this piece of linen and I’ll be so happy to have it. I also thought about this quilt:

Here’s the blog post I wrote about it but Chad was young – 6 or 7, and I was dying fabric. He wanted to dye fabric for his own quilt so I let him choose the colors and this is what he chose. The yellow is almost exactly the same color so this piece of linen makes me smile.

I’m not going to make any decisions today about this yellow linen but I would love a redwork piece stitched on yellow. But, I always wanted a yellow and red bedroom but I think it would be very pretty with a deep, almost burgundy red floss or even with a beautiful deep pink floss or a pretty shade of blue. The possibilities are almost endless. Maybe I need more of that color! 🙂
