I’ve just finished #10 so it’s going to be closer to 1 a.m. when I finish. I guess I’d be on time if I were a bit farther west. 🙂
After #6, I realized I was going to have to stop taking pictures and reporting on each project if I was going to get to #12 so I’ll post pictures in the morning.
Any other night, I’d be easily stitching til 1: a.m. It’s 10:30 and I can’t stay awake but I will! Another weird thing is that I haven’t heard a single bit of fireworks. The previous two years, they’ve started at dark and gone on til about 2 a.m. They could still get started but when I was out with Oscar a few minutes ago, it looked like everyone was either gone or asleep. I didn’t even see lights on in most of the houses. Weird.
Hoping you all have a safe New Year’s Eve.

Oh, my neighborhood went uncomfortably crazy. It didn’t sound like regular fireworks, more like something scary. I didn’t like it, and am glad I don’t have animals. My PTSD son takes sleeping pills on nights like this! I look forward to seeing tomorrow’s posts and pictures. I hope you make your 12 hours!

Happy New Year! It is 12:07 here! Nothing drastic but they are still setting off the fireworks. Did not start until after 9. Of course it is illegal to do it in our city limits, but no one does anything about it!

I live on the edge of town, and I can hear people setting off fireworks in the nearby fields. I was hoping that the rain we’ve had nearly all day would have kept them away, but it didn’t. Sigh.
