I found that Valerie re-sent me the email about the fix for the Lowery frame. Thank you, Valerie!
Here’s what she wrote:
The crossbar has an angle cut leaving a flat spot for the Lowery clamp and the screws are actually carriage bolts with knobs underneath. Modification #4 is to reverse them so the knobs are on top. I also need to cut the pegs a bit shorter.
I think I’m going to have to tell Vince I’m not cooking til he makes this for me! 🙂

What stand are you showing attached to the Lowry? Does your scroll frame just sit on it above the dowels. I have a Lowry and I use Omanik frames but I like to get to the back of my work simply by flipping over my frame. This looks like it might work for me. Thanks

Thanks for show this! I was wondering how it works. It looks like the scroll frame just sits on this frame….wondering about the wooden pegs and what their purpose is. Or does the scroll frame sit on top of the wooden frame and both of them are then attached to the Lowry frame?

I think the scroll frame rests against the wooden pegs.

Thanks! That makes sense to have a “stop” so the frame doesn’t slide off.
