I’m pretty excited to make our dishes for the Feast of the Seven Fishes. I did change what I’m going to do with the shrimp. I have a shrimp dip recipe and I wanted to make that for tomorrow so I’m going to make it today, Vince and I will have that as an appetizer and then the rest we will have for tomorrow.
I’m making a German Chocolate Pie for our Christmas dessert so I’ll make that today and make the Cranberry-Cherry Salad that I love. On Christmas Day, I’ll make Funeral Potatoes, Rib Roast, rolls and Caesar Salad and that’s it. Christmas is an easy meal where Thanksgiving about kills me.
I’m trying to decide if I want to make this Christmas Tree Pull Apart Garlic Bread. I did buy some already made rolls but that tree looks pretty snazzy.
My plan for today is to get everything done that needs to be done today, then get back to cross stitching til time to start on the fish.
Now I hear there are two games I have to plan around. The KC game starts at noon I think and then another one at 3. I prefer to watch KC but I know Vince wants to watch both of them. Does food trump football or vice versa?? 🙂
Vivian Oaks says
Food should ALWAYS trump football. Fixing a special meal takes a lot of time and effort, and it should be appreciated!! If they want to finish watching a game, then let them eat cold food!! And there better not be any complaints!!!
