Christmas packages are wrapped and under the tree. The packages look a bit sparse. We’re giving money to Chad, Nicole and Addie but I wanted them to have something under the tree. I ordered Chad bread bags and plastic shower caps to put over his bread when it’s rising. We gave him the beef shanks he had wanted us to pick up, despite him trying to pay us for those.
I’m really pleased with the gift I got for Nicole. It Redwork Santa by Prairie Schooler. This is such a great stitch for a beginner. Their charts (at least the ones I have) are large enough to see and don’t have a million color changes. This one only uses two colors – a red and green. The white is just the Aida showing through. I got her the chart, floss and fabric. I cut the fabric into the right size pieces so she has 8 pieces – one for all 8 designs. I should have probably ordered two or three skeins of each color but we can always pick that up at Hobby Lobby. I’ll teach her how to make little pillows or ornaments – whatever she wants to make when she gets them stitched.
For Addie, I bought a cotton candy maker, a Star Wars waffle maker, Star Wars pajamas and an autographed Teresa Kogut calendar. Addie likes to draw and I’m always telling her Teresa Kogut’s story about when Teresa’s third grade teacher wrote her an end of the year note saying something like “I hope you spend lots of time this summer sitting under a tree drawing.”
That’s about it . . Christmas 2022 will soon be a memory, then 2022 will be a memory and we’ll be gearing up for 2023. I don’t want to wish time away but I’m kinda happy to get on with 2023 .. starting with the radon guy showing up on January 2 to get this radon probably resolved . . hopefully.

Because of your radon blog posts, I have gotten an at home test to do and mail off for results. Anxious to see the results and get a radon guy scheduled if it shows we need to do that. Thank you for the information on radon.
