Only one more week and this little guy will be a year old.
He’s calming down just a bit . . still has a ways to go. I’m just thankful for the amount of time he sits in my chair with me. He’s so observant and sometimes, it seems he knows what I’m thinking before I do. He’s perceptive and knows when I’m sad or worried, or it seems that he knows.
He’s definitely still full of energy . . Vince says he’s full of spit and vinegar.
This week, we’ve been gone so much; not for long periods but just leaving him here and he doesn’t like it at all. I try to spend extra time with him when we get home but maybe that’s making him more clingy – maybe he just needs to learn there are times we have to leave and he has to be here without us. I don’t know the answer!

He is so adorable! Hard to believe he’s almost a year old! Time just flies by! Bridger is very observant too and watches us for signs of going somewhere in the car which he loves. Early on we started using the phrase “watch the house” when we were leaving and he wasn’t going with us. He knows what that means now and it’s hard to see the change in his demeanor when he hears it.

I’ve always said “You’re in charge!” when we’re leaving. I don’t think Oscar understands it yet. He has to be put in the crate when we leave, and he probably always will so that ruins his day. He knows we’re leaving him.

He is so cute and looks like he is going to be a cuddlier! I bet he is growing out of the puppy stage. It is so cute when they are young but it is wonderful when they grow up!
