When I moved the floor frame downstairs yesterday, Farmhouse Christmas was still in the frame. I started this in February 2021. It’s on 30 count fabric, two strands of floss, I was having so much trouble counting threads since I had just started stitching.
I’m going to get back to this and would love to have it finished by the end of February, 2023. Two years is way too long.

That is such a pretty stitch! Hope everything works out using hoops/stands again! I’ve gone to sewing in hand and have had pain in my left hand too when spending a long time stitching in one sitting. One thing I started doing is using the wonder clips and rolling up the fabric when I’m working on an area far away from the edge. Also trying not to hold the fabric really tight. But I’ve come to realize that I just can’t spend hours cross stitching like I want which is really hard when I’m working on something I love!

Wow…still in the frame? I guess you have to finish it to get your frame free! Sometimes these decisions are just made for us! It is so hard to go back to a project that has been problematic…hope the rest goes smoothly because it will be a lovely piece!
