These are the charts I bought at Cecilia’s in Branson. If any of you see anything you want to stitch with me, just let me know and we’ll get it on the schedule. I love all of these!
This is A Plant of Rapid Growth by Heartstring Samplery. I had been thinking about getting it for a while and seeing it there in the store in real life made me want it for sure.
This one is Ebenezer’s Christmas by Erica Michaels. This one was stitched and on display in the shop. Seeing them completed and framed always makes them so much more attractive.
This one looked way better in real life than it does on this printed chart. This was stitched on 40 count gauze and I have no idea what that’s like but it seems like it would be kinda open and it almost looks like two strands of floss were used. The sample I saw was probably stitched on 40 count linen with one strand. Just to make it less crowded looking, I might stitch it on 36 count.
If you go to Erica Michael’s website, you can see the full design here, but if you go here, you can read more about how it can be stitched into three smaller pieces and she has photos. Makes a huge difference in what you will probably think about this one.
I can’t get this one stitched and framed for Christmas, 2022 (look at me being realistic . . I must be getting sick!) but I’m going to try to get it stitched for 2023. I seem to be able to stitch words faster than I can stitch motifs . . we’ll see. Still . . I’m not even going to think too much about this one til after the new year.
This one was also stitched and framed. I had never seen it before but it was love at first sight. It’s Battle Hymn of the Republic by Little House Needleworks.
This is another one I don’t think I had seen. It wasn’t stitched up but the chart caught my attention. It’s Season’s Blessings by Lila’s Studio.
No explanation needed as to why I bought this one, right? It’s Feliz Naughty Dog. I will make him a brown and white dog and I may try to make him into a longer, shorter dog. We’ll see how that goes. I think the Peppermint Bark I did earlier was by Dirty Annie’s too. I may need to take a closer look at her charts.
The rest of these are the ones that arrived while I was away.
This is Love Never Fails by Barbara Anna. I saw this project in a flosstube and it was completed and beautiful.
A Merry Hart by Plum Street Samplers. Another one I saw on a flosstube.
This is Halloween Crystal Ball by Tiny Modernist. I think I’m going to leave the skull off and maybe put another jack-o-lantern there. I don’t like the skull . . that’s too spooky for me.
That’s enough to keep me busy for a while, right?

Ooh, what fun! Love them all but my favorites are A Merry Heart and especially Love Never Fails.

I have “A Plant of Rapid Growth” and “Love Never Fails” and have had “Battle Hymn of the Republic” on a list list for a couple of years now. I would like to stitch all three but I’m not a joiner and if I join, I don’t participate. But if you set up a SAL, I would probably kit them and start sometime…

I did the Erica Michaels design earlier this year and left off some of the stitched rows because it looked too crowded. I am happy with how it looks
