It’s been several weeks since I placed an order with Evertote almost a month ago and they were quick to ship it but that package has spent days at one place, then days at another place, then days at another place and finally, it arrived yesterday.
The below pieces are all Leo & Roxy dyed linens.
The above three pieces are 40 count. Bottom left is Panettone; bottom right is Lentil and top is Snickerdoodle. You can see the good tones in that piece of Snickerdoodle.
The four below are all 46 count. Top left is Lentil, top right is Snickerdoodle. Bottom left is Porcelain, bottom right is Mottled Citizen.
I shouldn’t need linen for a very, very long time.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen Leo & Roxy linen and I like it. The linen was nicely pressed and totally without wrinkles, it’s cut very straight, all edges are serged. This linen looks very, very nice and it’s going to be one of my go to linens if ever I need linen. 🙂
I also ordered a bit of Leo & Roxy floss.
It’s been long enough that I don’t even remember why I ordered these colors but they’re very pretty.
I also ordered three different shades of black.
I’m anxious to use the linen and the floss. I’m thinking I might use the 46 count Porcelain for And A Forest Grew. If I use 46 count, this piece would stitch up to be 18-1/4″ x 8-3/4″. Just for kicks, stitched on 40 count, this piece would be 21″ x 10″. If stitched on 36 count, it would be 23-3/8″ x 11-1/8″. The chart calls for 32 count and stitched on that, it would be 26-1/4″ x 12-1/2″. I think it’s so interesting how much difference the different counts make on finished sizes.

Even on 46-count, that is a large piece to frame! It’s definitely over-the-fireplace size! I bet it will be beautiful though!
