On of the projects I want to stitch sooner is And A Forest Grew by Rosewood Manor.
Today I’m starting to make floss drops. Before I left home, I cut a bunch of rectangles from card stock, brought two sizes circle cutters, the floss measuring stick and all the floss. There are at least 103 skeins of floss so it isn’t all going to be done in one day but maybe I can get half of them done this evening.
This isn’t something I’m going to start stitching right away but I won’t start stitching til all the floss drops are made.

I am also hoping to start this project next year for my son and D-I-L as they have planted over 150 trees on their property and are about to move into the house he has built. My floss is on bobbins as that’s how I have kept my floss for years and I have the full DMC floss line. My fancy flosses I am putting on floss drops that I have been making and I do love them.

A time consuming job, but needful. Sounds like you are already getting set for the new year!
