Not being a TV/movie fan, I had never seen Field of Dreams. Last night Vince was watching something about Kevin Costner. Vince said “You do know who Kevin Costner is, don’t you?” I told him I do know who he is but don’t know if I’ve seen any of his movies. Vince said “You’ve never seen Field of Dreams or Dances with Wolves?” Nope, never seen those.
He found Field of Dreams and we watched that. I was trying to cross stitch while watching it but dang . . there were a lot of tears! Loved the movie.
Tonight I hear we may watch Dances with Wolves if we can watch it on anything we get.

I’m a crier, too. Hard to do much after one of those emotional movies!

If you are able to get the series Yellowstone (Kevin Costner), you won’t cry. It’s rough and the language is rough, but I am hooked!

That’s what Vince was trying to find last night.

…Yellowstone has been running on Paramount (owned by CBS). New season starts Sunday evening. It’s probably not on anything else. I haven’t decided if I’ll watch it this season or not as it’s gotten a little too violent for me but I do like the characters.

Great! We have Paramount through Walmart Plus. Oh, no . . I don’t generally like violent movies. Maybe I should pass.

When we first started to watch Yellowstone it was too rough for me. I had a trip with my daughters for a few days and when I returned, hubby said he thought if I watched a little more I would see more than the roughness. He was right (and he loves hearing those words!). I am hooked on this show

If you liked the first one and cried, you’ll like the second one more and cry more. =)

Both of those movies are well worth the time! I haven’t watched Yellowstone. Maybe I’ll try it, but only if I get it without paying extra. Cable is too high as it is!!

Field of Dreams is definitely a good one. Don’t watch Yellowstone if you don’t like rough language and LOTS of violence.

You have got to watch the movie for the love of the game with Kevin Costner…really good

Both movies are good. Yellowstone: We started watching one episode and a guy had 2 men in a horse trailer taking them to jail, I assume. Drove very fast. When he opened the trailer at his destiny, they were gross looking, blood all over.(dead!) That ended Yellowstone for us. Field of Dreams was made in Iowa and Dances with Wolves a lot made in South Dakota. One gentleman that I knew from our area was in the cast as a pioneer person. (I am from Iowa and now South Dakota.) Like your cross stitching. Between you and Jo, both help me a lot. Thank you

The Postman is another Kevin Costner movie that I like. It is post apocalypse, but it is about a person becoming greater than they imagine they can be. I had no phone ot internet at my house for several weeks. I am gradually catching up.
