I know . . every mom thinks her baby is the cutest, smartest, sweetest baby ever and that’s how puppy moms feel too. Oscar is a weird color for a dachshund and I know some people love the traditional colors and, even though no one has ever said it, I’m quite sure some people don’t think Oscar is gorgeous and perfect in any way. That’s ok . . just don’t tell me you think that! 🙂
This is the picture that pops up on my screen when my computer reboots. I don’t reboot my Chromebook very often but it did just happen (that’s a story in itself!). Every time I see this picture, I’m so overwhelmed with how much I love and adore this little dog.
I’m also shocked that he went from that to this in 11 months.
I’m glad his spots got darker. I’m very thankful Vince agreed to get a puppy.
It seems funny/weird to me that some people only want one breed of dog. I would love any dog that showed up here. I’ve had as many strays that chose us as I’ve had dogs I bought and I’ve loved them all. In fact, Oscar is only the third dog ever that I’ve picked/chosen/purchased. I’ve had Brownie, Rusty, Popcorn, Duke and Rita that just showed up at our house, not to mention Cat and Boots. But, if given the opportunity to choose a dog, it will always be a dachshund for me.

Well I think he is pretty darned cute! I love the stories. When I saw the first picture it put a smile on my face. Those innocent eyes! And of course we spoil them in our own way! That is why God gives them to good parents like us! Have fun with him and keep posting pictures and antics!! I love them!
