Today for our meal I made this Sesame Ground Chicken recipe and it was quick to fix and really good. I roasted some butternut squash with maple syrup and spices, cooked a pot of rice, made a salad and it was all quick and delicious.
We don’t often use ground chicken but I had it in the freezer so figured today was a good day for it. I had found two 5 pound packages of ground chicken on sale a few months ago, bought it, divided it into one pound portions, vacuum sealed it and froze it.
The recipe called for 2 pounds of chicken but I knew that would be more than we needed and we don’t need a lot of leftovers this week (leftover Mexican on Monday, grilled tuna on Tuesday, hamburgers .on Wednesday and smoked salmon on Thursday). Even with just one pound of meat, we had enough left that Vince can have it for a small lunch one day this week.
Anyway . . that recipe was so quick to make, I wanted to share it here – so y’all can make it if you’d like.

Did you use the full amount of brown sugar? Was it really sweet?

I didn’t because my chili sauce said “Sweet Chili Sauce”. I only used half of most everything since I was using only 1 pound of meat. I’m guessing I used maybe 1 T. of brown sugar. You could always add more if needed.
