If you’ve never seen Katie Strachan’s embroidery, please go to her website and look at those photos of her work. Brenda from Brenda & The Serial Starter mentioned Katie’s Elizabethan Valentine Heart kit/class and that’s how I found Katie.
Most of what she has shown isn’t something I would do – I know I could do it but it would take lots of time and practice and it’s all a bit too fancy for me but it is breathtakingly beautiful.
What she does have that I would make and wish I could start today is this 2022 Ornament Kit, which I ordered and can’t wait for it to arrive. I think I can buy more beads and sequins and felt. I’ll have to see what all is involved and what supplies I can get locally but I think Addie would love making these for teacher gifts.
Even if you aren’t interested in the kits she’s selling, I think it’s worth it to check out her work! So inspiring.

Wow! It is breath taking. A joy to look at. I can’t imagine how long it must take to complete these. I thought those bell ornaments would be fun to do and have.

Me too! 🙂
I think the chart gives you all the instructions and what she offers is the linen, silk floss, silk ribbon and a different size bell template to accommodate the different count linen.
