The only monthly subscription package I currently receive is the Fat Half Club where I get a fat half of XJu’s Linen every month. Starting in December, I’ll begin receiving the monthly floss packs from Evertote. I look so forward to receiving these packages. It’s always a surprise. I have never seen anything XJu dyed that didn’t make my heart skip a beat. I want it all! I’ve heard so many good things about the Leo & Roxy/Evertote floss, I know that will be a fun package to receive also.
The XJu monthly linen package arrived today. As usual, it’s amazing.
Of course, Vince was home when the package arrived. In fact, he got the mail. Sneaking in packages is unbelievably difficult these days. 🙂
The XJu lady always sends something extra. This time it was three skeins of tussah silk floss.
Now I’m going to be on the lookout for something that needs three colors of floss. I think these colors are so pretty with this fabric. Any three floss color chart recommendations?
Instead of calmy stuffing the package in a plastic bag and taking it downstairs, I opened it and showed it to him, again telling him how much I love XJu’s fabrics. I was telling him how pretty it is . . isn’t it perfect for a sampler? He looked at me and said . . it kinda looks like the fence. Does it need another coat?
Yesterday Vince and I had a discussion about whether the fence needs a second coat. Some of it looks like the fence above and some of it looks like the fence below.
No, Vince . . the fabric does not need a second coat.
Yes, Vince . . the fence does need a second coat!
Funny guy but at least he didn’t say anything about more linen arriving!

Yes, the fence needs a second coat! 🙂 One of the neighbors around the corner from me fenced in a small area around their side door (privacy fence), so they could let their dogs out when needed. I was thinking it really looked nice, and then they painted it black…They have painted the house white with black trim, so it fits the theme, but the black fence really jumps out at you. My personal preference is a stained fence, but to each their own.

I think a stained fence is easier to maintain too but, as you said – to each their own.

All of the xJu linen I have purchased is so pretty i almost hate to use it. I just want to see it there in my stash!

That’s exactly how I feel but when I have used it, I’m so happy I did . . though I usually try to buy one exactly like it to replace the one I used.
