Thursday when I was in town and stopped by Walmart to get a small turkey, I walked in front door and right there . . front and center was this sign:
My first thought was . . there has to be a manager or an employee who would notice this? It’s so obvious. And it’s right where people . . employees and customers . . pass when walking into the store or from the front of the store to the produce area.
My second thought made me giggle, though it’s not funny. Maybe this is how things work in a world where inflation is out of control. Now they’re advertising that the cost is more today than it was yesterday. Kinda like . . get it today. Tomorrow they’ll be $5.38!
My third thought, which may be correct . . am I just looking at this wrong and it’s correct and in my head, I have it all wrong? I see that it was $4.48 and now, the “rollback” or reduced price is $4.98.
It didn’t matter because I wasn’t buying a pumpkin and, since Vince wasn’t with me, I would have paid $4.98 or $4.48 . . whatever the price was that it rang up.

Hope a manager found it and will fix the sign, LOL.

This is funny! I feel like they may have transposed the prices, but maybe not!

Who knows what it was supposed to be. I just thought it was funny that as soon as you walk in the door, that’s what you saw.
