The stitching is finished or, as finished as it’s going to get.
The chart calls for 16 or 17 little four stitch “doo-dads” randomly spaced around the main stitching. That is a whole lot of starts and stops so I figured I’d dig out the beads I used for knitting and use red, green and gold and stitch those down . . maybe 6 or so of them but I’m not sure it needs anything else.
I’m thinking I may leave it like it is.
My count got pretty far off on the bottom. I was watching flosstubes. It was late. Everything I saw, I wanted to order. I didn’t order EVERYTHING I saw but I ordered several charts. Then I was chatting with a friend and she sent me a link to a shop that was having a sale so I ordered a bit of linen from them. Then someone else mentioned linen and I fell down another rabbit hole. I didn’t buy more but spent more time looking at linen than I did stitching.
Anyway, I like it and I think I’m going to go right now and make it into a pillow.

Very cute! I like the gold outline — just enough to emphasize the dog, but you don’t really notice it.

So…no tops to those “stems” sticking up from the bottom? I thought that was where you were going to put the beads you mentioned. That is one sweet pillow you have made!

No. That’s not where the beads would have been. Here’s a link to the chart so you can see what it looks like with the little doo-dads where I was going to add beads.
