What shall I do today that doesn’t involve using my right hand? Seriously, I can use it a little and it feels so much better this morning after having slept with the brace on. I asked the doctor what all I could do and he said something like “If you feel no pain, you can do it in moderation” but I know doing nothing is probably best. I can stitch with the brace but on but it’s awkward and just not worth risking prolonging the injury so . . I’m going to cook. I plan to smoke a chicken, make baked beans and potato salad, which means peeling a few potatoes. I will wash at least two loads of laundry. My left hand isn’t half bad at opening clothes pins so I should be able to get the laundry on the line. There’s always the dryer!
I have a couple of charts I’ve been wanting to convert from DMC to silk so today may be a day to play around with my silks.
My Kindle is full of books I haven’t read so maybe I’ll sit outside and read some of the day and then I can read inside too.
I’ll be a good patient and obey doctor’s orders and I will not whine about it! 🙂

It sounds like you still have a lot of options! We had a major water line break in our town yesterday afternoon, so I have to think of things to do that do not involve water. The water plant shut down last night to make the break easier to repair, so we will probably have no water at all later today. I’m off work today because of the water break, so I hope I can get caught up on some things I never get done on weekends…

Having no water is so inconvenient. Hope you get lots of fun things done and don’t have any real need for water.
