Of course I didn’t get as much done as I had expected to get done. I was hoping to get the urn and the big center flower done yesterday. I did get enough progress made on the flower that I have reference points now and won’t have to keep checked everything over and over. I stitched 664 stitches yesterday – almost half as many as I did on Tuesday. I helped Vince a little with the compost bin, Oscar was super playful and not biting as much so we played quite a bit. I can’t remember what else I did but hopefully today I’ll make more progress.
I usually take the picture the night before because if I wait til morning, I’ll start stitching and forget to take the picture. I had stitched a bit and when I looked at the picture and saw that I had left the needle in the fabric and a thread blob sitting there, I laughed . . I almost took the picture over again even with the extra stitches from today but then I figured . . that’s just how life is around here . . a bit messy sometimes with needles in my path! 🙂
This is going to be such a pretty piece. Teresa Kogut is such a great artist and her colors are some of my favorites.
