Yesterday I got so much done. Vince worked outside most of the morning, then messed with updating computers all afternoon. He was upstairs and I could tell my interruptions were starting to bug him so I came downstairs, cross stitched for a long time, took a nap (for too long), then was up way too late last night stitching so I got a tremendous amount done but it was mostly all easy stitching.
Even though I counted and recounted, I went ahead and stitched the first row of letters just to be sure I had the placement right. I didn’t finish the letters but I kept tracking if they were lining up correctly under the border and so far, so good.
Because ironing/pressing isn’t great for the silk floss, I’m not going to press this each day but . . I never do. 🙂 Hmm .. that looks kinda like an ultrasound under “hot, rainy,”. That’s just the way the fabric was folded . . it doesn’t look that way in real life. Maybe I should go back to bed and sleep a bit more. 🙂
Today I’ll continue stitching on A Sampler for All Seasons by The Scarlett House. I hope to finish stitching the right side of that top portion and start filling in that top right box – maybe stitch at least part of the house.
