I’m so in love with that moonflower. It smells so good, is so beautiful, opens up a dark, lasts for one night, fades by about 7 a.m. and is gone . . with only a seed pod to remain.
About 5 p.m., I knew I had two that were going to open up last night.
Here’s my hand for comparison. These blooms are so big and smell so good!
Can you see how many blooms are waiting to pop open? I’m betting the next few days we’ll have an explosion of moonflowers. I’ll spread the seeds somewhere outside the fence and hopefully we’ll have a million blooms next year. 🙂

I’ve had moon plants for several years and love them. But mine dont have a fragance?? How odd?? I pull the seed pods off and it will continue to bloom.

Wow! So pretty. I’ve never seen a Moonflower in person. Visited a friend yesterday, and she has a big Jasmine plant that smelled really good.

I love Moonflowers! They are even more beautiful when the bees get them! It makes them look like they are lace! There is a form of moonflower at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens that has a purple rim around it! They are gorgeous!

I saw something similar on the internet and yes, they are gorgeous.

Wow! So beautiful! I’m going to have to try and find out if they will grow here!

Thanks Judy, I never heard of Moonflowers. Unsure if we can get them here in the UK? If I could I will definitely grow them. Is there another name they go by? Going to try and see if there’s a possibility of buying them over here.
