Last night I finished Stitching Witches (aka Denise & Judy). I love it and can’t wait to get it fully finished and ready to display in October.
This morning before daylight I pressed it and had to use the stitching lamp to get a halfway decent picture. It isn’t really this bright and for sure, the fabric’s splotches aren’t so bright.
Denise and I both stitched this and since we both thought of the two of us when we saw this chart, we stitched our initials in the embroidery hoops the witches are holding.
This chart is one of the August selections from Teresa Kogut for her Patreon group. It’s so worth it being in part of her Patreon “whimsies”. I look so forward to her releases each month.
I changed up some of the colors and I outlined my ghosts because they weren’t showing up so well.
After I finished it last night, I couldn’t stop looking at it. So fun!!

I especially like the expressions on the jack-o-lanterns. So cute!

That really is so cute! I too love the expressions on the pumpkins. What a special stitch and when you have it up on the wall it will always remind you of your friendship with Denise!

They’re probably thinking “these witches talk more than any witch I’ve ever seen!” 🙂

Adorable! Now whenever I picture you and Denise talking, it will be cackling in your witch garb, sitting on pumpkins!

That is absolutely so cute! I love it!! The changes you made have “made it your own”. And stitching around the ghosts really was needed, in my opinion. Great stitching!
