Yesterday I made good progress on the green witch. It’s such a fun and relaxing stitch. Those big swatches of color go so quickly. Denise’s pumpkin is all outlined and ready for solid orange stitching. I’ll probably work on the Judy pumpkin today. I started at the top left but once I finish the bottom “border” or ground – I’ll start on the Judy pumpkin and work up from there.
Last night I received an email that the frame I had ordered for Santa’s Big Bouquet was out of stock and should be back in stock in November. I figured that may or may not happen and since I want it for Christmas, I chose another similar frame so I’ll hope that one is in stock.
As soon as I finish the bottom “border” on the witches, I’ll be able to measure it for a frame, then I’ll probably put it down and get more stitching done on the Mischief Brewing piece so I can measure it for a frame and, if there’s nothing here that fits, get those two frames ordered so I can hopefully have them on the wall for Halloween.

Would love to see the wall that you put your stitches on. I have just made pillows in the past, but may consider a stitching wall in my old country farmhouse.

I’ll get some pictures and share. I keep waiting til I get more things framed and up. I have the frames here for at least a dozen more pieces but just haven’t taken the time to frame them.

Question? Why does the black in the hat look so sparse say compared to Denise’s skirt? Is it just because it is dark and the linen shows the contrast or did you use 2 threads on the skirt. What count are you stitching the on? Thanks!

Probably just because of the contrast of the dark thread and lighter fabric. I always use one thread. It’s 36 count.

You look so pretty in that green dress! Haven’t gotten much done today but there was a long nap so maybe I can stay up after Vince foes to bed and Oscar passes out.
