You’ve probably read through the years how Denise and I seem to think so much alike. It’s weird that she’s a paralegal and I was a paralegal. I can’t tell you how many times, even during our quilting years, that we’d each start a quilt without discussing it with the other one and when we would talk . . we had chosen the same quilt from the same magazine or I’ll find a cross stitch chart we both need, send the link to her and then look at my email and find that she’s just sent me the same link.
One of Teresa Kogut’s Patreon charts for October is Stitchin’ Witches. When I first saw it, I thought . . that’s Denise and me . . exactly! But then I thought maybe it would be rude to tell her she was a witch, even if she is my best witch friend!
Last night we were talking about what we were stitching for Halloween and what fabric we were going to use. I mentioned Stitchin’ Witches and I told her “Sorry but every time I see Stitchin’ Witches, I think of me and you. :)”
Her response: “I’m also a bit concerned that when I first saw Stitchin’ Witches I thought of you and me too. ROFLOL “
I was trying to read the email to Vince and I was laughing so hard. When I got to this sentence, I just handed him the computer. I could not stop laughing. “Any preference for your skirt color? LOL I think you are the witch on the right side because she’s the shorter witch, sitting on a shorter pumpkin because she wouldn’t be able to climb up on that other taller pumpkin.”
It’s so nice to have friends that make me laugh! I told Vince “I wish Denise was our neighbor!” He looked at me and said “You two aren’t right!”

We probably wouldn’t be laughing if it weren’t so true! 🙂

It is so nice to have friends like that. Denise is one of my very long time online friends and we have met in person. I think we’re friends for life.

Of course we’re friends for life – if “we aren’t right!” who else would have us. 😉

Now that is funny!! Did you tell me once that you liked Hiya Haiya needles? A friend gave me several and I was so happy to receive these! You would not believe what all she gave me!!

That’s funny. I had read yours first and then I saw Denise’s. That made it even funnier.

I bet it did. 🙂

I’d personally take that as a compliment……lol

That’s too funny! And Vince’s comment is the icing on the cake!

Vince and I are so different. He’s kinda quiet, doesn’t talk to strangers much . . I’m always gabbing and talking to anyone who will halfway pretend to be listening. Last night Denise and I were going on and on in mails and I was cracking up, reading them to Vince. Tonight, I was talking to my friend, Sarah, on the phone. We were giggling. I’d put Sarah on speaker so she could tell Vince something or he could tell her something and then Sarah and I would giggle more. He looked at me and said “You aren’t right!” I told him . . I think I heard those words last night” then I thought . . I’ve heard those words for 25 years. 🙂
