Saturday Denise and I were chatting about our stitching and she told me she was working on In His Image by Teresa Kogut. I thought to myself . . I’m a huge Teresa Kogut fan and I don’t remember that chart. I googled it and it didn’t turn up so I figured it was in one of her books and not a stand alone chart. I kept thinking about it and something seemed familiar but why couldn’t I find it online or on Instagram? Yesterday I asked Denise about it and she said it was a chart that Teresa had done exclusively for a shop but for a brief time, we were able to order it from that shop. That rang a bell. I went to my X-Stitch Plus app where I’ve been fairly good about entering my charts. Nope, not on there. Something made me think I had the chart but I just couldn’t remember it so I sat down in the floor and went through my charts that are in bins. Found it!
Not only did I have the chart but I have the fabric and the floss, all kitted up. I’m not going to start it right away but I am going to start it some day in the near future.
All this kinda makes me wonder what else I have that I’m not remembering. I do love sitting in the floor and going through the charts!

I bet you have a spread sheet listing your patterns/fabric – you could add a column for ‘kitted up’

I do not have a spreadsheet. I use the X-Plus app and yes, I could put kits on there but I keep the kits and the charts in the same bins so just knowing I have the chart would help. I need to makes sure every chart is on there. I need an assistant!

I love sitting on the floor looking at charts too! I get to do that shortly as I need to decide what my new start will be for August WIPGO. The other one for the month is an Owl Forest pattern called Apples of Youth. I’m excited to get back to that. It’s just one thread color (glad I had ordered it last year!) so I will likely find something that has more variety. I’m kind of hoping I don’t have the floss already so I’ll have to make a trip to Shepherd’s Bush…lol

Torture! 🙂 I so wish I lived close enough to go there or to any really great shop.
