Oscar Sitting With Me

I’ve mentioned that for about 5 months now, I’ve wondered if Oscar would ever want to sit on my lap and let me love on him. I remember Speck liking to sit on my lap from the very beginning but Oscar has not been able to sit still without biting and chewing and generally being a little trouble causer – grabbing things nearby, chewing on the furniture, wanting to constantly jump up and down.

Almost every day he seems calmer and more comfortable sitting and sleeping on my lap. Speck always loved to stretch out on my legs and sleep the evening away so it made me so happy to see Oscar wanting to do the same thing. My chunky thighs have to make a comfy, soft bed.

He’s just so cute and when he’s sleeping or even being still and not biting, he’s sweet and snuggly.

I’m not sure about some of the positions he gets in but so long as he’s not biting or chewing on things he shouldn’t be chewing on, we’re good.

I am ready for him to be home!
