From time to time I’ll have a headache but as far as being sick . . really sick . . it rarely happens. Last night . . it happened! I don’t know if it was something I ate or a bug but I was up pretty much all night and I’ll spare you the details except to say that I will do ANYTHING to keep from throwing up. I think it’s been 30 years since I threw up but now my record begins anew.
I got up this morning with Oscar, got all his needs taken care of and went back to bed and slept til almost noon.
I did use one of our Covid home tests just to be sure and it isn’t that, at least not according to the test.
Kitten Stitcher had some kind of a special project that was hitting her website at noon today and I had hoped to get one but I felt too bad to even set my alarm so I felt like I was meant to get it when I woke up and it was 11:53 . . just enough time to get to the living room, grab the computer and get my order placed. 🙂
I always say that since I feel so good all the time, the few days that I feel bad make me really thankful for my great health and high energy level.
My plan is to sit and stitch all day today and maybe all day tomorrow. There’s a boule of sourdough in the fridge that can be baked this evening or tomorrow morning so we have bread and plenty of leftovers. I’m taking it easy for a few days.

I was working outside, and checked email about 12:30. I ordered the club piece about 12:45.

Glad you’re feeling better! I’ve been fighting something similar the last few days and so has a dear friend in Texas so there must be something going around. My granddaughters had it last week. You are so lucky to be in good health. I was until I had shingles 11 years ago and although I have mostly good days, I’m always in pain, which is exhausting. But, I do what I can and I save my energy for the girls. Their birthday party is this weekend and they’re having a Merida party from the movie Brave. Since my husband and I dressed as Merida’s parents for a Disney party a few years ago we’ve been requested to come in costume. Should be fun!

I’ve heard shingles is really tough. The birthday part sounds like lots of fun!

Thanks. I guess because I’m never sick, I can be a real wimp but I never woke Vince . . just got up and went to another bedroom so I think I handled it pretty good (better than he would have!) 🙂

I had the same thing last week! Couldn’t keep anything down for almost 24 hours, and i NEVER throw up. It took me several days to stop being sorta queasy and im still tired. Hope yours doesn’t last long!! Oh and the hub got it too 🙁

I read your comment to Vince and when I got to the end, you should have seen his face. I hope he doesn’t get it!

I’m with you on doing anything to keep from throwing up. My streak started over somewhere around 2008/2009. Before that it had probably been at least 30 years. I thought I might be starting over in 2021/22 while I was doing chemo, but I never got sick. I felt queasy a couple of times, but the meds they gave me did the trick. I hope you are feeling better!
