Little Oscar

How about we end the day with an Oscar post? We’re still having so much fun with him. He’s almost 7 months old and I do think he’s stopped growing or, at least he isn’t growing so much. Chad had not seen him in almost four months and he said he could really tell that he had grown but he didn’t think he was much bigger than Speck was. Oscar doesn’t seem as big now as he did a month or so ago. Do dogs have puppy fat? He’s still very active and he loves running and playing. Just a little over a month til we get the fence! We’ll still have to put chicken wire or something underneath it and bury it a bit so he doesn’t dig out, even though we’ll always be out with him and we have one place where he can fall down a retaining wall so we’ll have to somehow secure that area. Even if he falls, he’s still inside the fence but it’s about a 4′ fall and has concrete below so we don’t want him falling.

He will almost always bring me his toy if he wants me to throw it. It’s so hard getting a picture . . he isn’t still for long.

I love the looks he gives us. He has so much personality.

He’s trying to get me to try to get it, then he’ll take off running, I’ll act like I’m chasing him and he loves it.

You can see he has plenty of chew toys around, and there are other toys just not in the picture. He managed to get around the barricade, got into the hallway and got one of my shoes that I wear to take him outside. So far, he has not chewed up a single she but it isn’t because he hasn’t tried.
