It doesn’t take much to excite me.
We have several echinacea plants in our beds and I love them. There are so many pretty colors now. They come back year after year, no matter how hot and dry the summer or how cold and wet the winter. They drop seeds and multiply. They’re native and since we’re using all natives plants, I wanted to get more colors.
Last week we were at Walmart and we passed through the garden area to see what they might have and they had this colors which we don’t have so we bought two of them.
It was one of those days when it was super hot and we were about to die in the parking lot but I saw the ladybug and grabbed my phone to get a picture. Vince wasn’t amused! He just wanted to get in the car and get the a/c going but . . a ladybug!
There are some bugs that make you think they’re ladybugs and they aren’t but I think this one is an authentic ladybug. I hope he/she/it loves living at our house and has an entire family of ladybugs soon.

I saw my first ladybug in several years a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they are making a come back. Made me think of my grandmother as she was fond of ladybugs; always said they were good luck.

I was trying not to get too excited because I wasn’t sure it was authentic. Thanks.
