Last night it sounded like Oscar was chewing on his bed. This is the new bed we gave him a couple of weeks ago. He did chew a bit on one corner and I sprayed it with Bitter Apple Spray and he hasn’t chewed on it since that night.
Last night, it sounded like he was chewing on the bed. I got up to go look and this is the look I got:
Is that not just the epitome of guilt? Honestly, he looked so sweet, I walked away, thinking he hadn’t been chewing on the bed but as soon as I sat down, I heard it again and looked over. Yep, he was chewing on that front left corner. I sprayed it with the bitter apple spray and he drug the whole bed over to where I can’t see him, which I think is just a coincidence and not something he’s smart enough to plan, but I don’t think he chewed on it any more last night.
That bitter apple spray works wonders. I wish I’d listened sooner to everyone who told me to get it.

He does have a “slightly” guilty look ;-). Glad the Bitter Apple is working….we used to use it (fostered several dogs as well as we had our own dogs). Some of the dogs quit chewing, etc. and some of them liked to lick it.

Does he have to wear that harness 24/7? I hope not, that would be like always wearing a bra…ugh!

All of our dogs have always worn the harness 24/7. It doesn’t seem to bother them. We have them custom made by Dachshund Delights (even Rita’s) and they fit perfectly.
