Every night, I wash my hair. Aren’t you glad to know that? 🙂 Every night, I ask Vince “Are we going anywhere tomorrow?” If I know we’re going somewhere, I don’t ask but we so rarely go anywhere that I mostly always ask. He almost always says no and that means, I go to bed with wet hair. My hair is somewhat curly so you can imagine what it looks like when I wake up. I kinda just use some hair spray, scrunch it up and from a mile away, it doesn’t look too bad. But I should know that Vince is going to want to go somewhere every day. When I’ve gone to bed with wet hair, all I can do is stick my head under the faucet, wet my hair totally, dry it and then use the curling iron to smooth out a few rough spots.
Saturday night I asked Vince if we were going anywhere tomorrow. He said no but as soon as we got up, he said “Do you want to go . . ” and I’ve already forgot where it was he wanted to go so I did the head under the faucet thing and we went.
Sunday night I asked Vince if we were going anywhere tomorrow. He said no.
Yesterday (Monday), he said he was going to haul off the brush that was in the burn pile so he could burn the bagworms. He had never been there so he asked if I would go in case he needed help backing up. He doesn’t like backing up. He said “I’m sure you won’t see anyone!” I said ok. We weren’t out of the driveway and he said “Do you want to go to Wendy’s and eat?” NO! “You won’t see anyone you know there!” I’m sure but I said said NO! We get a little farther down the road and he said “I have to go to Walmart.” Not going! “You can sit in the truck and I’ll be quick!” We get a little farther down the road. The motor is out on the thing that rolls the driver’s side window. We were passing by the body shop. Vince said “I’m going to stop by the body shop and . . ” NO!! Vince said “You don’t have to get out!” I said “But the guy will get in the truck to look at what the window is doing! NO!!”
We went to Walmart. I stayed in the truck.
Today I know we have to leave home. Last night when I washed my hair, I blew it dry so it wasn’t so crazy this morning and I could easily make it somewhat presentable.
While we’re out today, I’m going to ask him to please get everything he could possibly need for the week so we don’t have to go out again. Who thinks that might happen? Not me!

You know Vince well enough to know he is always going want to
go someplace! Just dry your hair at night to save yourself the agony
Of having to do it in the morning. Have a great day where ever you go!

My husband knows that since an accident in a produce department a couple of years ago where I stepped on a cherry and ended up with a broken shoulder that I have PTSD about going out to stores, but especially stores with produce departments. I want him to grow all our vegetables. I do not want to go to stores at all. I love online shopping. He knows he can only get me out to go to a store about once a week and often I stay in the car. Occasionally I will go in after he has shopped so that I can see what he has picked up and pay.

There will always be something he wants or needs! LOL Just be thankful he is still able to go out by himself!

I don’t know how curly your hair is but manes by mell youtube channel has been a saving grace for my curly hair. With her techniques (without changing products) with the denman brush and drying with a diffuser, I can keep curl definition for days! I can lightly wet and restyle on days it is getting crazy.
What I can never do is going to bed with wet hair. lol Talk about looking like you put your finger in an electric socket. lol

My hair is fine and fairly short. Mine seems to actually work better letting it dry by itself and is more fly away with the blow dryer. I go to bed with it wet and then if we’re going somewhere, I stick my head under the faucet, then tousle it with my fingers for a while and then put a bit of spray in it and scrunch it up. Once it’s all the way dry, which doesn’t take long, I straighten out the bangs a bit and that’s about it.
