That sharp little tooth that was hanging on by a thread . . yesterday morning I looked at it when I got up and I told Vince . . It’s barely hanging on. If you will hold him, I’ll pull it. I want at least one of his baby teeth to keep! Vince said he was not going to help me pull a dog’s tooth.
Yesterday afternoon, Oscar was being crazy. He ran by me and I grabbed him. He was trying to get loose and was trying to grab me (play biting) and while his mouth was open, I noticed . . the baby tooth was gone! There was a tiny little bloody spot where it had been.
There are some baby teeth left farther back but I’ve never been able to retrieve one of those on my other two puppies. My previous pups would spit those front teeth out when they fell out in their mouths.
I’m so sad I didn’t get one of Oscar’s baby teeth to save. I kept looking on the carpet and looking in all his chew toys. Vince said “There’s one more option . . ” No . . I am NOT doing that!”

I am sorry you did not get it! I can’t believe Vince would not help you!

I would always try to pull my pups baby teeth, even those in the back. It sounds as though Oscar may be a little too rambunctious to attempt doing that though.

I’m afraid he is. I have tried cutting his nails and it cannot be done. Even the vet techs struggled. They told me to mess around with his feet so he’s used to them being touched. I do that all the time and I can sit here and rub his feet, rub between his toes, mess with his nails but get some tool out and he goes nuts! He had a rough nail the other night and . . call me cruel but I put a towel over his head and put my leg over his head. Vince held his back end and I was able to use to clip that ONE nail. That was all I was up for!
