Lots of stitching plans for June!
Jo & Judy SAL
Today the second Jo & Judy SAL begins and we’re doing Redbird Sampler by Heart in Hand.
This project is sponsored by The Stitchery Nook. I plan to start working on this today as today is the secheduled start day.
Cross Stitch Camp:
Cross stitch camp runs June, July and August. This is sponsored by Colorado Cross Stitcher. June’s challenge is to stitch something for the holidays. I’m going to stitch the 1997 Prairie Schooler Santa.
Kogut SAL:
Teresa Kogut is supposed to be having a SAL for Tier 4 of her Patreon group. I think that’s right . . Tier 4 and a SAL starting June 1 but I haven’t heard much about it so that may or may not be happening.
My Birthday Stitching:
Last but not least, I have a birthday in June. I had planned to stitch Little Red Chair Sampler by Scarlett House but I think I’ve changed my mind and will stitch Ellen Carr 1843. I think it looks patriotic and it looks like something that I would finish and something that I’d like hanging in the house.
That’s a lot! Four starts in one month. I should really try to finish the Prairie Schooler Santa since it needs to be finished by the end of June to meet the challenge. I don’t think the Jo & Judy SAL piece has to be finished in June. I should know that . . but I don’t. I know the Kogut pieces doesn’t have to be finished in June because I think she’s going to give it to us in parts. I would like to stay up with all the parts. The Ellen Carr piece . . I’d be happy if I can just get the border stitched!
Yep, June is going to be a busy month and I probably won’t get nearly as much done as I’m hoping to get done!
Pat D says
I started the Redbird sampler today. It should go pretty quickly. I did my initials and the year first, because I was afraid of getting so involved in the stitching that I’d forget to change them. Have to prevent those senior moments whenever possible!
