This is so close to being finished, I think I might can finish it today.
Yesterday I got my initial and 2022 stitched. I got Chad’s initials and his birth year stitched. I filled in the bottom squirrel and finished his tail. I partially filled in the squirrel on the right chimney. I added some of the peach flowers to branches. The big thing was deciding where to stitch the initials and getting them done.
These are somewhat notes to myself but the things I have left to do are:
- Finish acorn in border. I think there are nine of them.
- There is room to add two or three acorns on the side of the house.
- Finish filling in the squirrel on the right chimney
- Finish a few peach colored leaves on the tree above the house.
- Finish the acorns above the words.
- Finish the middle of the sunflower.
- Stitch a small motif in the four corners
- Near the top, there are a few peach flowers just under the zig zag border.
- Finish the partial star on top of the roof.
If that really is all I have to do, and all goes well around here, I think I can finish this today.

I really like this piece! The purple/lilac house is great! Will this hang at your house or is it a gift for Chad? Another fabulous [almost] finish, Judy!!

I hope Chad will want it but . . who knows. I’ll be happy to have it hanging here but my preference is that Chad wants it.
